Don’t panic.

This isn’t a case of secretive nation-state telephone interception methodologies (or spying, as it’s typically known as).

It’s not a story of cybercriminals intentionally making an attempt to pay attention in to your small business discussions to allow them to divert large bill funds or implant ransomware with multi-million greenback blackmail calls for.

That’s the excellent news.

The bug on this case, found by Indian cybersecurity researcher Anand Prakash, was merely a matter of poor programming.

The dangerous information is that the side-effects of the bug might just about have been exploited by anybody, wherever, any time.
